Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

  • The contest is open only to the residents of Tamil Nadu.
  • Participants need to be 18 years or older to enter the competition.
  • Employees of EID Parry (India) Ltd., its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

2. Contest Period

The contest begins on 26th January 2025 and ends on 29th January 2025. Entries submitted before or after the contest period will not be considered.

3. How to Enter:

Only one entry per person is allowed. To enter the contest, participants must follow these steps:

  • Scan the QR code appearing on Parry’s Print Ad in Times of India (Tamil Nadu Edition) Republic Day Special Feature dated 26th January 2025.
  • Post scanning the QR code, watch the ad in full once it starts playing.
  • After the participant completes watching the Ad, enter your slogan for the contest on the WhatsApp interface.
  • You will receive a confirmation message once you submit your entry.

4. Winner Selection

  • Winners will be selected by Parry’s team based on creativity and originality of the slogan. Parry’s team reserves the right to disqualify the contestants on the grounds of inappropriate content, multiple entries by the same contestant, or non-compliance with rules.
  • The decision of Parry’s team shall be final and binding.
  • Winners will be notified via email/phone/social media within 7 days of the contest end date.
  • EID Parry (India) Ltd. reserves the right to post the results of the contests with the pictures of the winners in social media for their bonafide marketing purposes.

5. Prizes

  • The prizes for the contest will be in the form of gift hampers/ vouchers. EID Parry (India) Ltd. shall take the responsibility of shipping the said gift hampers/vouchers or alternatively making them digitally available to the winners for redemption. 
  • Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered.
  • EID Parry (India) Ltd has the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

6. Claiming the Prize

  • Winners must respond to the notification of their win within 24 hours of intimation by EID Parry (India) Ltd.
  • If a winner does not claim the prize within the specified time, EID Parry (India) Ltd reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

All disputes will be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of India and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai.
